it’s a cryin’ shame.

Shame.  We’ve all felt it at some point in our lives.  It can propel us to do the right thing (i did it…), it can fester and eat away at our soul (what i’ve done is too terrible for words), it can make us forget the grace we’ve received, the truths we’ve been told, and make us bury our (so-called) sins in a dark, musty trunk at the bottom of the ocean.

there’s something in this.  i’m trying to piece it together in my mind, so bear with me.

she was told never to tell anyone what happened to her.
